Symposium on Emerging Trends and Opportunities in Biomedical Engineering
On April 10, 2025, EMBS UET New Campus, in collaboration with BIOMED 5.0 and UET Media Society, organized a one-day symposium that brought together leading experts, researchers, and students to explore the future of biomedical engineering. The event featured impactful keynote sessions by Dr. Rashid Mazhar Siddiqui, Dr. Asad Ullah Khan, and Mr. Abdul Basit Khan, covering topics such as sustainable practices in sports, healthcare innovation, and advanced biomedical equipment.
A key highlight of the event was a hands-on CPR training session using Augmented Reality (AR)—an engaging initiative to equip students with essential life-saving skills through immersive technology. The symposium concluded with a shield distribution and closing ceremony, leaving participants inspired and better informed about emerging industry trends.
